The Riverview approach

Little details.
A lot of heart.

Choosing child care is about finding a place where your child feels comfortable and your family feels connected. At Riverview, care is built around the individual—their routines, their personality, and the little things that make them smile.

A smaller home setting makes room for personal attention, meaningful play, and a gentle daily rhythm. It’s thoughtful care, with the warmth of home.

Known as an individual

A smaller group creates more opportunities to learn each child’s cues, routines, personality, and changing needs.

The comfort of home

A familiar, home-based environment with space for play, rest, meals, and the everyday moments that help little ones settle in.

Room for discovery

Age-appropriate play, books, music, movement, and outdoor exploration when conditions allow.

Rhythm with flexibility

Predictable routines with room for individual feeding schedules, naps, and developmental needs—especially for infants.

Thoughtful surroundings

Child care areas arranged with young children in mind, with attention to visibility, comfort, and age-appropriate use.

A connection with parents

A welcoming place to ask questions, share preferences, and stay connected to your child’s day.

A day at Riverview

A gentle rhythm.
Not a rigid schedule.

Time to settle in, explore, rest, and reconnect. Each day leaves room for the needs of the children in our care.

Meet your provider

Hi, I’m Gina.
I’m so glad you’re here.

Hi, I’m Gina, and welcome to Riverview Child Care!

Here, little ones have a warm, welcoming place to learn and grow, and families are part of the experience. Our small, personal setting allows me to get to know each child—their personality, their routines, and the little things that make them smile.

Through playful discoveries, everyday adventures, and gentle encouragement, I help children explore at their own pace and celebrate each new milestone. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing updates, and knowing your little one receives thoughtful, attentive care. I look forward to getting to know your family and welcoming you to Riverview!

Thoughtful training & preparation

I completed Wisconsin child care training with a focus on infants, toddlers, and family child care, including:

  • Fundamentals of Infant and Toddler Care
  • Fundamentals of Family Child Care
  • Infant and Toddler-Focused Child Care Training
  • CPR Training for Adults and Infants
  • Pediatric First Aid

I’m continuing to learn, train, and prepare so that I can provide families with thoughtful, safe, and nurturing care.

A career built on caring

My career has given me valuable experience in both caregiving and leadership. I began as a Dietary Aide before spending six years in hospice as a Trained Medical Assistant. That experience deepened my appreciation for patience, compassion, and attentive care, while reinforcing the importance of treating every person with dignity and respect.

I then spent five years in the dental field, eventually becoming a Branch Manager. In that role, I developed skills in team leadership, daily operations, and building trusted relationships with patients and families.

Today, through Riverview Child Care, I’m fulfilling a longtime dream: making a career out of caring for children, something I truly love. I bring the compassion and professionalism I’ve developed along the way to create meaningful connections with little ones and support families along the way.

Helping little ones discover their world

I’ve been babysitting and caring for children since I was younger, including caring for groups of up to eight children at a time. I’ve always enjoyed being around children, and there is something special about watching little ones experience and discover the world for the first time.

I love seeing babies and young children experience something new through their natural curiosity and sense of wonder. My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, grow, and feel cared for each day.

Life outside Riverview

Outside of Riverview, I love spending time with my husband, Nick, whose encouragement and support have meant so much throughout this journey of making my dream come true. We enjoy being outdoors, spending summer days on our boat, gardening, working on projects together in the shop, and making homemade treats.

I also enjoy photography and creating short videos that turn everyday moments into lasting memories. At Riverview, I look forward to capturing playful activities, little discoveries, and special milestones so families can share in the joy of their child’s day. Photos and videos will always be taken and shared with family permission and respect for each family’s privacy and preferences.

A place to feel at home

Choosing child care is a deeply personal decision, and I know how much it means to find someone you trust with your little one. At Riverview, I take time to learn what comforts your child, what sparks their curiosity, and what matters most to your family. My goal is for your child to feel secure, understood, and excited to discover something new—and for you to feel heard and supported along the way.

I’d love to meet you, show you around, and hear about your little one. Schedule a visit, bring your questions, and see how Riverview feels for your family.
